Stupid questions, but just never dealt with these before:
To disconnect the hoses from the green power beyond cap,
I'm guessing I first turn the hex fitting on the right?
If I turn it enough will it come totally off the inner fitting? Or do I just loosen the fitting on the right enough and then turn the inner hex fitting and remove that from the cap? Thanks image-608671769.jpg image-2192348580.jpg image-193153599.jpg

You need a hold back wrench on the fitting in the casting or you may twist the tubing. The first thread is only sealed by an "O" ring so loosens easy and usually as it is made up metal to metal. Working hydraulics I find flare nut wrenches and crows foot sockets are man's best friends. Open end wrenches have a tendency to round over the flats. The ones behind others; you have to take it all apart and reverse the re-install. Foreign made stuff you need all that in metric. Beware of the proper torque when reinstalling. Do Not use teflon tape anywhere.

From what I think I know: I can just hold the inner fitting (that's attached to the green casting) and detach the outer fitting w/ hose from the inner fitting. I believe I can just leave the inner fitting attached to the casting (power beyond cap) when I remove the cap (to add a second scv valve).

Thanks.
