I have a Ford/New Holland 655D backhoe and one of my loader hydraulic cylinders is leaking oil. As shown in the attached picture, there's a small outlet nipple protruding from the bottom of the cylinder and oil is dripping from this outlet when the backhoe is running. Since I know very little about hydraulics, would anyone be willing to provide advice on how I should go about fixing this leak. I would assume that an internal seal is bad and needs to be replaced. Is this fix something that a novice could repair or should I bring the cylinder to a professional and have it done? Thanks for your time! View attachment 654881
