Hyd. Filter

I'm confused. I thought the NAPA Hyd. filters were restrictive and would make your pump squeal, and that the filters from Hoye were different. But I mine says NAPA Filters - Gastonia, NC on it. It just doesn't have any identification numbers on it. Is it a different NAPA company? I think I'm just missing something.

It is not that all NAPA filters are too restrictive - just many of those numbers that people are finding locally and have been posted here. I'm a little surprised though that you got that filter. We do sometimes order custom filters like that but I didn't think that we had any of those left. Someone must have found a box left over somewhere.... we have been doing some early spring cleaning. Either way - that filter you got is correct and is a very good filter.
