When I was a kid my step father was a traveling salesman that did demo's for hustler, he would trailer a Hill sider out to potential customers and demonstrate it's capabilities for them.
He would often end up going to Dam's and show them how it could safely mow the steep banks without worry of safety issues, back at this time there were many accidents and employees killed in rollovers trying to do this job.
I loved it when he would let me drive these machines, while I was never allowed to do steep banks, I got a kick out of mowing lesser slopes, sitting in the cab when it tilts to correct for angle was thrilling to me. If I remember correctly Hustler was the first commercial mower to utilize the self correcting cab, but I could be incorrect.
