My dad's Husqvarna 4421D HUV has been really jumpy upon take-off in both forward and reverse. You either have to slam the throttle and jerk your neck, or try to feather it, and still jerk your neck! To me, it feels like the front 4x4 won't disengage, since the front tires grab all the time on pavement or grass and steering wants to pull heavy whenever turning. It used to improve when the machine got hot, but used it yesterday for July 4th Celebration activities in 90+ deg. and it never improved. It's a serious issue when you're carrying a passenger and/or in a crowd. We had a professional small engine/turf service tech replace the clutch and trans/diff fluids a few months ago, but the problem persists. I used a light hydraulic oil for the trans fluid, becuase the Exxon 304 or whatever the manual calls for is hard to come by in my area. Anyone else had this problem or a solution for it? Other than this, it's been a great vehicle. 2008 model with just over 102 hours on the clock. TIA.
