Husqvarna 155 drive belt replacement

How difficult is it to replace the drive belt (that drives the wheels) on an Husqvarna 155 articulating mower? It looks like a pain in the azz.

Searched for videos online but did not find any.

Anyone know of a link to a service manual or video?

Also, the belt I purchased is a V belt with teeth but none of the three pulleys have teeth. Just curious if I have the correct belt.

I have changed out the drive belt on my 2002 model R155 - piece of cake. It 'looks' like you have to disassemble the entire mower - but you don't. I think that once you remove the left hand floorboard (2 screws) you'll be right there to remove the single pulley required with a 13mm wrench. Actually, you don't 'have' to remove that pulley, but I didn't want to strain the belt guard. Other than sneaking the belt through around that pulley, the rest is a simple matter of snaking the belt from the crank pulley to the front.

My belt does not have teeth. Doesn't sound like the right belt to me, but I don't have the part number for the belt that fits mine.

montysimmons, Vee belts with notches (cogs) do not use a toothed pulley. They are like regular vee belts, which transmit energy using friction. The notches remove material to make them more flexible and to permit higher cooling rates.

On the other hand, cogged flat belts, aka timing belts, use positive transmission to transmit energy in conjunction with cogged sprockets.
