My boss brought in a CD with a few hundred pics of Hurricane Rita damage. I attached a picture of a machine shop that is about a mile down from where I work. Just a little taste of what Orange, TX was looking like on September 24.

Thanks for sharing the picture. I'm about 200 miles north of the coast and didn't get much from Rita. The weather forcasters were predicting massive amounts of rain and winds, but luckily it ended up not doing too much.

Hows the rebuild coming? Are things back to normal yet?

Yeah.. it was one of the lucky ones! It did have quite a bit of roof damage though.

Here is a pic of the local Ford dealership.

It's sure looking better. There are still tons of roofs with tarps and trees still on the ground. I was about half way up to you during the Hurricane... about 25 miles north of Jasper and it was still BAD up there.
