As you all know, Hunter S.Thompson suicided himself a few days back...
I wasn't a real fan of his writings...now, or back in his heydays in the 60's and 70's. I always did enjoy the lampoon on him that Gary Trudeau did in "Doonesbury" though. Thompson was the "Uncle Duke" character.
But, did anyone know he was a tractor owner? I did a search after his death. One of the web sites had a picture of him on a Deere 670 or 770. He used this to maintain his "fortified" compound in Colorado.
