I just got what was told was a Huber Maintainer.
Not sure has a tag on frame with HM4905
It has Hercules engine, flat head six with number on alternator side die cast in REG-1
& on starter side stamped on block near head OXC5 over 742709.
I need a carburetor kit for the engine and down the road will need at least a ring job as it is smoking pretty heavy (I don't want it to die of lung cancer just yet) .
I've taken pictures close up of engine

you can see the ebay listing pictures Just search for 290569802427 or
HUBER Maintainer Minneapolis Moline Cocshut Tractor | eBay
Was running when I got it but did not notice that the gas cap went missing on the trip home (500+ miles) and had heavy rain this past Monday and ran tractor before I noticed the missing gas cap. I have drained the gas tank and cleaned the sediment bowls (yes it has 2) put in a dry gas treatment and 5 gallons of fresh gas with the marine type engine stable in it. drained the carb bowl and tried to start it and notices gas coming out of the throttle linkage point of the carb. I am thinking that the float is stock open.
thanks
Noel
