If you are planning on doing an HST/Hydraulic oil and filter change on your 00 series tractor you may be interested in the following.
For me it was a frustrating process when doing the oil/filter change because the information provided in the 00 series service manual (page 18) regarding the suction screen/strainer was vague. All it said was to clean it with non flammable solvent, nothing about where its located and what was required to remove and reinstall.
Hopefully this will help other "do it yourself" type people or at least help you ensure the people you pay to do you maintenance don't overlook this step...
A big shout out to ptsg for helping me through this poorly laid out process! You will find more information on page 3 & 4 of this thread...

1) if you are doing a filter and oil change, proceed with that process just hold off on putting the large (right side) filter on until you service the suction screen. If you just want to check the screen, you can, by backing off the big filter (right side) and letting the oil run into a clean pan for reuse later, then remove the filter.
2) You require a oil drip catching container, rags, 1 1/16" wrench and non flammable cleaner. Also be careful, the strainer is delicate so be gentle with cleaning and using compressed air etc.
3) Locate the 1 1/16" bolt to the rear of the large oil filter. My bolt is not metric for some strange reason. See picture below...
4) Loosen bolt and gently remove it and attached screen. Careful not to lose/damage the O-Rings seated in the oil line fitting. The oil line fitting is attached to a flexible hose and will easily move out of the way.
5) Clean screen as per manual. Clean O-Rings, fittings and inspect area where the screen came out for any foreign matter.
6) After cleaning reassemble suction screen bolt and hydraulic hose with O-Rings. I don't know what the torque setting is for this bolt but will update if someone can tell me.
Now you are ready to complete the rest of your HST/Hydraulic oil & filters change.
This is a bad picture of the hydraulic line dangling below the tractor after the bolt/screen is removed.
Hope this is helpful!
