Got an interesting E-mail from a buddy.

Seems that HS Precision has used Lon Horiuchi as a spokesman recently.

I can't help but wonder if Mr. Cooper, formerly the CEO of Cooper firearms was the new marketing director at HS Precision?

I thought since guns are a topic on this forum, this is information that all people who own firearms should be made aware of.

The information is correct as well.

I'm not looking to start a discussion on the topic, only passing along the information.

Could you give a little background on who Lon Horiuchi is and what this mean?

I'm a fan on Hogue stocks, don't know anything about HS Precision.

Look up Ruby Ridge and Waco.

Mr. Horiuchi's name will come up.

Apologies, I'll leave my opinion out of it as far as what the State of Idaho should of done.

You can make your own decisions as to the "facts", and to Mr. Horiuchi's involvment.

HS Precision is a "high end"/high dollar company out of South Dakota. Apparently does a lot of goverement contract work.

Lon Horiuchi shot an unarmed Mrs. Weaver at Ruby Ridge. That much has been pretty much accepted as history. You can read the history on the assault at Ruby Ridge many places. He was also initially reported by another FBI sniper to have fired first at Waco, though that sniper later retracted his statement and said the Branch Davidians fired first. I've always wanted to know why he was even deployed again; no matter what side the Ruby Ridge issue you sit on, it was way too controversial and current to put him out there again IMO.

I'm under the impression that the FBI claimed that no one from their sniper team, at ANY time, took a shot during the Waco seige.

What else has been pretty much accepted as fact is that the state of Idaho tried to nail his butt for murder, but the case was transfered to federal court, where it was thrown out because Mr. Horiuchi was acting on behalf of the goverment.

Think about that for a minute.
