Just a quick note as a new member to say hello and introduce myself.
My place is near the Upper Illinois River in the Ozark Mountain foothills of NE Oklahoma. This is the Sovereign Cherokee Indian Nation of Oklahoma.
For my part, I am an old (57) Choctaw/Eastern Band Cherokee (North Carolina) mix. I choose to keep my enrollment, voting and such with the Choctaw Nation. Love to pow-wow, dance, eat Indian Tacos, Fry-Bread, Morels, Wild Onions, Hog Frys - all that sort of thing.
My skills are those of a career gunsmith with a very high-volume shop in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area. I hold degrees from Georgia State University(BA) , Saint Edward's University (M.Sc) and I completed postgraduate work the College of Law at GSU, Cal State Dominguez Hills and the University of N. Texas.
Aside from general bench work, my specialties were:
1. Advanced Metallurgical Consulting
2. Substratrate Prep & Application of Advanced, High-Performance ceramide , tungsten, diamonex-type, IR/Stealth coatings - that sort of thing. I prepare parts for firearms, racing, motorcycle, 4WD racing, top-fuel, nitro, marine applicatios - all kinds of stuff, including TRACTORS!
3. S&W revolver action jobs.
4.. I am repairing a botched "restoration" of a Ford 9N. Its complete, no rust, runs, etc. Nice, running tractor, but lots of corners cut in its so-called "resto.
I'm also a psycho college football fan. My teams are:
