- JD 2950, JD 2440 late and an older one, 430 Case tractor
Howdy y'all. I was researching charging problems on a Diesel 6x4 John Deere Gator(alternator not charging,lights on, was hoping to find an easy fix) and found this site. I have a 2950 Deere tractor I use to pull by 466 JD baler. I also have a 2440 with a nodel 47 JD loader,bought the tractor new in 1981,loader at an auction. Also have an older 2440 JD I use to pull a 450 JD sickle mower, not a fan of rotary mowers. Been baling and selling hay on our family farm since I was 13, I'm 57 now and have been in the hayfield every year for 44 years. Used to custom bale but help got too hard to find,so now we just bale our own.
