Does LoadMatch live up to it's claim on the 4x20 series tractors? I have not have opportunity to test this part since none of my dealer had anything to dig into to test it. Just wondering if the feature is actually useful?
There is a video on the Deere site where they pull a load till it snubs the engine on both a Deere and a Kubota. Then they restart the Deere with load match on and drive off...
I didn't realize Deere had the video on their website. That sure was interesting. I watched all three and watching the comparison between the two guys taking the loaders off and putting them on was really interesting. The Deere is so much quicker. I wish they would have compared the 4320 to the Case and New Hollands, too. Oh well.
O my 4310 it is almost always on. Once it was bumped off and my wife stalled the engine while diffing. That was a real shock; having never done that before. Turning Loadmatch on made it like new.
ou can get the same efect by backing off on any HST, but you can't do it at the speed of light...
If I'm puttin' around at low RPM I usually turn it off. But as soon as I'm revving and working the loader it stays on. Works like a dream. It is hard to explain just how good it works in words.
I have stalled the tractor(s) once with load match. That happened when the brushhog hit the ground and had no option but to kill the tractor. I have not ever gotten one of my tractors below 1900 RPM's with loadmatch on. I am not sure why everyone just doesn't leave it on all the time. It doesn't hurt anything it probably releives some strain on other drivetrain parts.
Yes, I have it on a 4310 and it has never been shut off in 540 hours. I can't compare against not having it on because I never have and am now unwilling to, but I have never stalled the tractor.
I could not get used to using the hand throttle to give it the gas. With the pedal on the floor for speed control it was natural for me to think that I was also giving it more gas with the pedal. The Load control takes care of that for me. It is most noticable to me when I go up a hill. The computer senses the load and adds the throttle. I have never turned it off. 4410
