Sickle Bar How to set a John Deere Haybine??

I recently purchased a used 1425 John Deere Haybine. I am not sure if it is set correctly. I would like to set it for a 3 inch cut but I am not sure how to set the machine. I did not get a owners manual with this machine. Can anyone help me?
