I'm getting ready to sell my 2210 and get a NH skid steer and I was wondering what the TBN ers think would be the best way of doing this. The tractor is located in a downtown area of a somewhat upscale town in a commercial office space building parking lot so i don't think a FOR SALE sign would do to well. But how has other people on this forum sold their tracotrs EBAY? want ad? those are about the only two ways i can think of doing it. any suggestions would be appriciated

I am in the same position, buying a Toolcat and selling several pieces of equipment including a 2210. Been watching them on eBay to see how they sell. Some appear to go higher than I would expect and some lower. I will be putting a sign on mine since I live in a rural area where a buyer may see it but that certainly doesn't cover much of the potential buying audience.

I've used eBay a few times and things tend to bring pretty fair prices there. Be ready for the selling fee though, on a few thousand it adds up.

I think tractors are very high on Ebay. I looked but couldn't find a 2210 when I was trying. The prices of late model used were too close to new for me. I always buy everything used, but I bought a new tractor.
I would try Ebay if you're comfortable with it. Sometimes the item doesn't sell with reserve, but I've had a couple big ticket items sell after from the contacts.
When I was shopping: I looked at Ebay daily, trading post, searched internet, checked this site, looked at traderonline, and checked all local dealers. Location is an issue because of obvious shipping problems. Also remember there are financial incentives from manufacturers that aren't available on used so don't over price.

I've seen some units go pretty high on eBay. That is a good thing if you are a seller. Thanks for the other references.
Fortunately I am in no hurry to sell but I do want to catch the spring fever. I would prefer to sell it locally, even to someone I know so I can hear about their experiences.
