How to remove taillight lens in Jinma 354 LE

Does the rear taillight lens come (pry) off from the outside, or do I need to remove the entire taillight assembly to replace a bulb? I looked for external lens pry points but did not see any.

The 300 series tail lights differ from the 200 series, and from what I can tell by the pictures it is a "boxed" assembly, and the bulbs are removed from the rear. It appears that the assembly must be removed to replace the bulbs. Hey, I've seen worse.
