Mice got behind the dash of my 855. I got them out of there but I can see where they nibbled the insulation off some of the wiring. I'd prefer to repair it now as have an issue later. I'll replace that blown bulb while I'm in there.
I took a quick look in the blowing snow and it seems like access will be difficult. I can remove the side panels but my hands still cannot get in there behind the fuel tank. My technical manual and the parts drawings do not clearly show how the dash fastens to the pedestal.
How do I get in behind the dash or remove it for access? Or do I remove the whole pedestal?
When I changed my flasher, I was able to pull it out to the side, so haven't had to get behind there before.
Thanks
