How to remove center console?

Anyone have a photo or can recommend the proper way to remove the center console on a 5600? Have what appears to be a mouse nest inside of it, and would prefer to clean it out. Can only do so much through the hole for the boot around the arm control. Seems to be a clip in the front, but I can't see any other attachment points. Didn't want to start tugging and break something.

By center console, I mean the part with the "Fasten Seat belt" handle/portion where throttle and bed levers are.

Tried to get what I could, still a little too narrow for my vac attachment. Was hoping this thing would be easier to pop on and off.

There are 2 screws from the top behind the cup holders at the rear. Two screws from the top just in front of the armrest then remove switch cover, mark wires and remove. The rubber cover of the armrest comes off to reveal 2 bolts underneath. Joystick boot comes off, unhook wires, loosen nut and remove joystick. I'm looking at the repair manual under mainframe...center console. It looks to be not that hard if you do a good job marking the connectors and maybe take pictures.

I just had mine off. I didn't remove the joystick but I did remove the lever for the box lift. It's attached to the valve by a single bolt that can be accessed through the hole under the armrest. Seemed easier than removing the joystick.

I think that same bolt is used on the 5610 3-point control. Yes, the manual said to remove that also.

I can see why the OP needs to get all of the mouse nest (etc) out of there. That area gets quite warm and "cooking mouse" smell is not good.

Hoping I can get away with just tilting the housing a bit to gain access/see if I got it all, as opposed to unbolting levers, joysticks and wires.

On an unrelated note, anyone know a good spray to get rid of a mouse piss smell?

I have used a pine-sol mixture to clean an area. Good luck...
