Been looking everywhere to find out how to install a septic leach field. I have 4" pvc 10' long there are 2 rows of holes drilled in the pipe.

One row at say 4 O'clock and the other at 8 O'clock and smack dag in the middle at 6 o clock there is only one hole drilled. How is this pipe to be buried?

Are you allowed to use the leech field material shaped like an igloo but in 10 foot links. It is very easy to install and you don't need to use any rocks.
As for your question, sorry don't know. Did you google it?

I always installed it holes down,

and most guides I have seen show the same,
EQ401 Septic Tank/Absorption Field Systems: A Homeowner's Guide to Installation and Maintenance | University of Missouri Extension
attached picture from above manual show the holes down

from inspect a pedia Septic DrainField Size Determination Methods: how big should the drainfield be &map what leachfield or absorption bed capacity is needed?
百eptic drain field pipe hole or perforation position: up or down? As you see in the sketches shown here, the septic leaching bed perforated pipe is placed on a bed of gravel and then covered with more gravel. Do not place the pipe at the bottom of the trench before any gravel is placed therein.

We like to place the pipe with perforations at the 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions so that we're not simply storing and collecting sludge and effluent in the pipe bottom; by not placing the perforated septic drain field pipe with one of its rows of holes facing directly down (at 6 o'clock position) we defer the clogging of the pipe effluent drain openings.

In my area it is installed holes down, I have never seen 3 hole pipe. With the holes at the 8 and 4 o'clock position the effluent/ water can fill the entire pipe before flowing out the holes, this way it is dispersed evenly into the whole leaching field. Any holes at the 6 o'clock position would not allow even distribution of effluent in the leaching field.

Read this statement several times I do not under stand it.....

Isn't the pipe going to hold water and sludge (when it gets there) at the 5 and 7 o'clock position before it can get out??

I like that idea of the whole pipe holding water so it is evenly disperse.

If one row of holes was buried at 6 o'clock that would leave the other at 2 o'clock But the holes at the far end may never see any use as the the first ten holes would get all the use until the ground there is plugged. Then the water could use the next 20 holes to do the task at hand.

Holes must go at 4 and 8 o'clock or 5 and 7 o'clock.

.. I am thinking the pipe goes with the single hole at the top so the row of holes will be at 2 and 10 o clock. Allowing the pipe to fill to the 10 and 2 o'clock positions before the leaching starts. This will leave more room for sludge in the pipe bottom when that time comes.

I may be wrong, but isnt the 3hole pipe primary used for drain lines, such as french drains, and the 2hole pipe used for sewer leach fields. Both pipe types are always installed with holes down Installing with holes up would allow either pipe to eventually fill with silt and become blocked. The 3 hole pipe allows water to enter the pipe from the sides and be carried away, (french drain), while the 2 hole pipe is designed to leach water from inside the pipe away from the line, (draining the bath tub or flushing).
