There are a few ways to boost HORSEPOWER on an engine and tractor manufacturers use them all. For example, my P 7010 (70HP)has the same engine as the P7030 (about 90HP). Mine is naturally aspirated, while the 7020 (80 HP) adds a turbo charger and the 7030 goes further and adds an intercooler to the air intake along with a turbocharger. These additions allow the use of more fuel to be used to increase HP. The injection pumps can be turned up to make more HP without any additions to an extent but the engine may not burn it cleanly if you just turn up the injection pump. This would be similar to changing out the carburetor on a gas engine from a 2 barrel to 4 barrel. There is a limit to how much fuel you can pump into any engine without putting in more combustion air but you can easily get 10 more HP from your tractor by just turning up the injection pump. You need a qualified mechanic with a dynamometer on the tractor to get this right otherwise it is just guess work and could easily damage your engine or drive train if you put too much fuel into it.
