how to find out how much my tiller is worth?

i have a 1979 Troy built Rotor-tiller have all numbers serial and model, just dont know where to get a price on it.

Have you tried ebay and craigslist? Might get some idea from there.

I'm guessing it is worth more in February-March than August. I sold mine (8hp and a lot newer than that) for $375 plus a 30 gallon oak tree back in March just to get it out of the shed. The tractor mounted tiller made it obsolete.
