How to fill coolant on 1998 Massey 231 tractor????

I owned a 135 massey for years and it had a latch you just turned and raised the hood up. I didn't see one on my 98 Massey 231. Do you have to take all the bolts out around the hood then take it apart to get to radiator???

Doesn't your 231 have a rad cap that's accessible above the hood?

That's a good question! Some clearly have a radiator cap and fuel filler cap on the hood, but others only have the fuel filler cap. My 241 has a flip door forward of the fuel filler cap that lets you get to the radiator cap.

Have you pulled the grill insert forward (like you're changing a headlight) to see if there's access to the radiator there?
