I'm thinking about buying a Kasco 6' no-til drill to use with my 37 hp. Kubota. The drill cost around $8500 new and my tractor is a 2002 which I paid $10,000 for. If someone wanted some food plots planted or pastures reseeded how do I determine the hourly rate? Also would the rate be the same for using my 6' bushhog? Thanks for all responses!

Probably in the 40-50$ an hour range.

Check that you don't run afoul of the DOT police being commercial and not having a USDOT number on your truck.

You need to shop your competition or the people already doing this.
For anyone to blindly give you advice on what to charge would be irresponsible.

You area might bring $300.00 an hour, if your the only one for 100 miles - or if everyone and their brother is doing it, along with Illegal Aliens, and 1920 tractors and equipment then it might be $5.00 per hour.
