how to adjust hydro relief valve on Ford 1510?

I need to adjust the pressure relief valve located in the diverter/manifold block. From a different forum I know I need to attach a 3000psi gauge, and the relief is usually 50 to 100 psi below the max pump pressure, which is 2,133psi. Is it just lowering the spring tension & if so any idea on how many turns for a given amount of reduction?? Or just trial & error??

If it has an adjusting nut, make the cyl go into relief and just turn it until the correct pressure is indicated.

If it has shims, shut engine off and install the correct shim to adjust the pressure. Restart engine and make the cyl go into relief to test the pressure.

how do you adjust the pressure relief valve of the engine oil that lubricates the front shafts of the engine

I am not getting any oil in the diesel pump cover when engine is running, is this the pressure release (engine oil) valve, and if so how do you adjust it?
