How much to sell my Case BH Bucket for?

I recently bought a tractor that came with an extra trenching backhoe bucket. It doesn't fit. Its a case and my tractor is a ford. So I was going to sell it but one guy told me they sell for about $1500 but that sounded high. Perhaps I'm wrong. Below are the pictures of it's information plate. I believe it's in great condition (a little rust, made in 1990.). What's too low to sell it for? And the last picture is of my dipstick/bucket linkage resting on the bucket when I realized I was a dummy and didn't even check if it was compatible before taking off my bigger bucket.

About 5 years ago I bought a 18" bucket for my 580k that was like new for $250. It came from western NY and had only been used in sand. Not sure how much prices have increased. You could put it on CL high and then lower the price if it doesn't sell.

As to price, I gave $100 for my case 24" bucket.

I consider that a steal. I usually see backhoe buckets from 200-500 depending on condition. And the few I see listed 800-1000, get re-listed over and over, so they obviously arent selling.

Check the c-list in your area and see if there is anything similar and what they bring

Yea, cut him a heck of a deal @ $1200:thumbsup:

New buckets are only in the 800-1000 range at various places online.

I imagine some larger excavator buckets can bring 1500+ used, but certainly not a case 580 bucket.
