How much snow?

We are having a big winter (for Ottawa) So far over 4m (13') of snow this winter. I was surprised to find out that we have not yet broken the record. A storm is raging right now that even had a period of lightning and thunder.
From looking at the pictures in the forums I would guess that some places get this much snow or more. How much snow do you get in a typical winter?
Even after three big melts this year it's a mess. Here's a pic of me clearing the drive way at home.

and here I am trying to build a garage at our country place.

We had the benefit of rain from this last storm. Snows all gone. Mud season may be hear!

24" Friday night & Saturday for me here in nw Pa. It was u-n-r-e-a-l.

My JD 455 and blower just laughed at it. Went through it like nothing.

We got about 16-18" on this last storm and for the year were at about 2.75 Meters of snow.

Thats pretty remakable considering the rain and warm weather we've had this winter.

For the first time we've gotten the snowmobiles out and went riding. Sad that it's so late in the year before we could use them. They sit so long in the garage as it is.

The all-time record at our state capital airport in Concord, NH was something like 113" back in the 1800's. This season, we broke that with a total so far of about 120". My numbers may be off a little, I am going from memory. Right now, we still have about 36" on the ground.

We are at 410 cm (161") so far this year. 440 is the record. At this point I'd rather we didn't break it this year. The driveway picture was taken before the last storm which brought 52cm. My walk behind snow blower is single stage and it is having trouble throwing the snow high enough to clear the driveway.
