Does anyone know how much Permitram lll I need for a transmission (hydro) and front axle change. I bought a 2011 MF 1526 with a loader on it but no mid-PTO & it's time for 150 hrs. service. I have read that the manual says the 8L/1.06 gals. for the transmission and 4L/1.06 gals. for the front axle, but it's a misprint and should be 18L/4.75 gals. Also do you have any pictures on where the drain plugs are for the transmission? Any other pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

As Will mentioned . . you might desire to get a service manual. But I take it you didn't get either the owner's manuals on the tractor and the owner's manual on the loader ???
Personally I'd want to have those too because the 2 owner's manual explain where items like drain plugs are located and specifications for fluids and service schedules etc..
My pointbwould be that the owner's manuals explain basic service info by words and pictures but also explain oprational details as well and owner's manuals serve to give a fair amount of detail across many areas . . not just servicing. I find the owner's manuals for my GC1715 gives me enough info for fluids changes and lubrication needs but explains more in a overall view. I'm sure I'll get a service manual someday too . . but I'd be lost without the owner's manuals first. Jmho
