I bought this tractor a year and a half ago. Changed oil last year, and put in the oil as per the Operator's book, and also the dealer. Last week, I found the oil level about an inch over the top mark on the dipstick. I wondered about leakage of hydraulic fluid through the pump seal into the crankcase.
So I measured 4 litres on a clean container, drained the old oil - getting nearly 4 litres - what I had put in last year. I put the new 4 litres of oil in, and it seemed to be just over the top mark. Started it up, then waited for the oil to settle, and found the level was now about an inch higher - now the oil was blacker, hence easier to read. I drained this new oil out, measuring it - nearly 4 litres. I put about 3 litres back, and the dip stick reads full. I checked the dip stick number with the dealer, and it is right. The manual, and the dealer's specs say 3.9 litres.
We are now wondering if the 3.9 litre spec is correct? What does your B8200 take?
Thanks
