How much is a 2008 x534 with 300 hours worth?

How much is a clean 2008 x534 with 54 inch deck and 300 hours worth??

The private party seller on craigslist is asking 5400.00

I don't think it's worth that much, but I haven't kept up on used values in a long time.

What's your best guess as to true market value?

I'm not sure, but $5400 doesn't sound like a "deal" to me. I was recenty quoted $5900 for an X530 new. It would have to be half retail to be a deal for me.

This is a used retail price, but it was the lowest listed at tractor house. Figure, what, $500 to $1000 discount off this $4,595 machine?

Around here that tractor can be tagged at over $7K new so I would say that half of that for a used machine would be a "deal", more than that might very well be a good, or fair price, but that is not what the OP is looking for.
