How hot should my transmission get on my L2350

I was using my 5' tiller yesterday and the transmission got very hot. How should it get when operating at 540 PTO speed on a 90F day?

Approx 190 ...
about 100 degrees higher than ambient. KennyV

After digging about a hundred feet of ditch, I made the mistake of leaning up against one of the backhoe cylinders. Anywhere the hydraulic fluid is pumped get as hot as the transmission. Hot enough that you don't want to touch it.
