How does this undercarriage look like

Went to look at a KX 161 and to me it looks all good what do you guys think it has 2400 hours and over all looks faded but in good shape mechanically

It could be the angle of the shot but I see noticeable wear on the drive sprocket so I would have to 'assume' equal related wear on the other parts of machine. What year is it?

2006 or 2007 not exactly sure

And all the idler wheels were already changed at 2000 hrs

If he is trying to sell it w/o cleaning it up, that would raise a red flag about past maintenance to me. With all that dirt it is hard to do a good inspection.

There is some U/C wear, but it's not bad. Sprockets and idlers actually look pretty good. There is some obvious wear on the rails and rollers, but again, not terrible. I would guess that you still have a lot of life left before it requires a change. Unlike a dozer, excavators aren't constantly walking and pushing a load. The U/C lasts longer.
