How do you wire 6 volt voltage regulator to a 6 volt generator?

I am putting my 1949 John Deere B tractor together and I can not figure this part out? Any help?

it's pretty easy.. the reg set's right on the genny. field to field, arm to arm, and that's about it. if your reg is using a seperate ground strap, make sur eit is grounded with the genny case.

last wire left is battery.. that heads out to your ammter net charge / discharge setup..
