In Minnesota it is illegal for the plow to throw snow over the bridge on to rivers, creeks and streams. So they just set it to the side and then come a few days later and pick it up and put into dump trucks. So this is so no salt gets in the river beds. Not a bad idea I guess.
So why do they pile it all up next to the bridge so in the spring it melts into the storm sewer then runs into the river they were trying to protect. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
