The vinyl has come unglued from the metal seat frame on my JD. Looks like they missed putting glue on it, when it was made. Only a few inches long, I can tuck it back and it stays a month or so. But I can see it is growing. Anyone know what kind of glue they used? I'm think maybe a two-part or hot glue would work. Any suggestions???

Forget the hot glue. Every hot day it will loosen and stick it to you. :( This lesson learned after trying it out on the seat of my camero. Hot glue does not flex in the winter either,it cracks. Super glue works well on vinal, make sure to have some remover or acetone to get your fingers unstuck.:D.When you are ready for replacement northerntool.com has a full line of seats. Of course ,if you want armrests with the seat, agri supply has seats with those.

I use contact adhesive when recovering seats. It would be a good fix for yours.
