How do I remove the Loader Boot?

the joy stick for my 2006 CK30 loader came loose while a friend was using it. He re tightened the jam nut but had the joystick in the wrong position. I want to remove the bottom of the boot so I can set the joystick right and use a little blue lock-tite to make sure it stays put. How does one get the boot pulled up to access the joystick?

It's been a while but if I remember right you need to remove the seat and access cover under the seat. Once the seat and cover is off you can access the two bolts going from the underside of the body into the joystick housing from below (might be allen bolts). The joystick then comes up out of the body releasing the boot.

I had to replace the "cenimatic kit" in mine which is the pivots the joystick move on. The originals were nylon and the new ones are metal. If you joystick is floppy seach the forums for cenimatic.

Thank you, I will try to get at it this weekend. The way it is now I keep dumping the bucket because my knee hits the joystick since the offset is forward and not to the right.

Mine came loose one day when I was out in the field at a customer and was flopping all around, what a PITA! so I reached into my little tool box, took out my one-size-fit-all metric pliers, gripped the boot where the jam nut is, twisted joy stick to the proper position and barely had to turn the jam nut to lock it. When I got home, I used two screw drivers to stretch the boot on the joy stick enough to where I could put a few drops of penetrating (green) loctite on the threads........it hasn't come loose since.
