How do I disengage Digger Chain to move C99 Ditch witch without engaging digger

Ted here in Safety Harbor, Florida. I visited TBN yesterday to get some help in trying to figure out how to start an old C99 Elec start Ditchwitch that I picked up on Tuesday. Learned enough from reading members posts to get R done !!! Now I am trying to figure out how to disable the drive chain when simply wanting to move the machine under power. I have turned the centerbar switch, counter clockwise as stated in the operating manual. That is supposed to disable the digging chain, but for some reason does not. Any ideas fellow C99 owners ?

I have been turning the dial inside the center bar hub on the Ditch witch C99 and it just freely spins...Is there a drawing of what it should look like or is there an adjustment to make the dial lock in and engage and or change the chain from digging to non digging ?

Sorry I can't help with the C99...I have a DW 3610...Have you tried searching youtube for your query?
