All the hoses on my Yanmar YM2310 for the FEL are 1/4" according to the markings on the hose. When I add the power steering cylinder I would rather use 3/8" hose. The only reason being that there will be less resistance to flow. The 3/8" hose is virtually the same price as the 1/4" stuff as are the re-usable fittings. Are there any reasons to NOT use 3/8" hose when everything else is 1/4"?
Thanks,
Eric

Shouldn't be a problem at all! flow will be increased, but also restricted by any existing fittings.

Yeah, that's what I think too. The fittings will be the main restriction.
Cheers,
Eric
