I took my TC29D in today to have the tires filled. I do alot of FEL work and it is a little light in the rear end with a full load, even with the boxblade on. Well, I dropped it off this morning. They called me about 2 hours later and told me that I have tubeless tires. I knew this, but didnt think anything of it. I had always assumed that you can put it in without a tube. He told me that calcium is very corrosive (I knew this) and recommended that I put tubes in them. Well, he told me it would take him up to 5 days to get tubes in for it, and I absolutely have to have it this thursday and friday. So I told him to go ahead and fill them without tubes. Now, if my memory serves me right, there are several ppl that have posted about doing the same thing on this site. Anyways, if you have any experience with this, please give me some peace of mind. (Although it is too late, they are already filled). I am hoping that I didnt make a mistake. Thanks!!

As long as there is no bare metal you'll be fine. If there is any clean it really well and paint it now. You'll also want to pay special attention to the valve stem area. Keep it cleaned of any residue.

.my boss has a case 480 tractor with the tires filled and no tubes still the same rims after 20 years with calcium in them so he convinced me to fill my 3130 without tubes plus its so much easier if u get a nail in the tire to just plug it but on the downside if you really tear the tire you will have calcium everywhere that my 2 cents worth

I've know many people who used calcium in tubless tires. I believe the most important point they make about it is to make sure you fill the tires to 75% with the valve stem at 12:00 to make sure the inside of the rim is covered, and make sure you bring the tire up to normal air pressure. If you get a leak, you can have problems if you don't clean up the rim right away and fill back to the proper levels of calcium water and air. Where the Ca leaks, it will kill vegetation. John
