Thanks for the insight I have never seen a forum with folks as patient as you all are towards the "new" guys asking a bunch of basic questions. Here is my situaion: I am heading to the dealer tomorrow to make a final model decision and talk final pricing. I am still a bit unsure whether I will go with the 33DA or the 40DA (you all suggested the 40DA over the 35DA if I could swing it for the extra $$ and the difference is about $1400 according to the dealer.) I know I am buying more HP and size than I might need initially but other things are in consideration per my initial question to you posted in "Asking for Advice on FIRST CUT..." . I am meeting with the dealer again to make my Tractor choice and then get down on the price. I am leaning to the DA40 ( I love the DualPower stick and the foot pedals for ease of operation.). Here is what he has offered:
TC33DA 14LA Loader w/HD Bucket, Block Heater, Quick Attach, R4-Filled (no Supersteer), 4 WD - $20,887
Woods 60" Brushbull Standard Duty - $1075
TC40DA 16LA Loader w/HD Bucket, Block Heater, Quick Attach, R4-Filled (no Supersteer) 4WD - $24,150
Woods 60" Brushbull Standard Duty - $1075
A TC35DA would be about $1250 below the DA price. From what I have seen here on other posts is appears that he is about $1000 - $2000 to high and I am trying to go in armed with some data. I am looking for a fair deal for both of us not neccessarily the lowest deal since the dealer has a great reputation and has been great to deal with.
Next time I talk with you I may be a full fledged tractor owner...that rocks!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Thanks for your insight!
