I have a Kioti Tractor what has a quick connect on the front, until recently I only had a bucket so I never used the quick connect. Now I have some pallet forks and while I finally got them securely attached it took more time than I thought it should.

Is there some trick to getting the pins to drop down in the slots? Do you have the attachment in a certain position so you can push the lever down somewhat easily? It just took me a long time of fusing with the lever, moving it up down, tilt back forth, over and over again until I was able to finally push the lever down to latch the pins, it was easy was it was in the right position but getting it there was a pain.

Just looking for some tips and tricks on getting them attached easier.
Thanks

For me, I tilt the bucket (or other attachment) upward, which relieves tension on the pins—to some degree—to remove the attachment. Sometimes I use a little "boot" on the lever, depending on the attachment. When I attach something I start with the "bucket dump" position and hook the QR lip on the attachment. Then I pick it up and rock it back (bucket up) and flip the levers. It should take about two minutes to swap out.

Not all attachment line up perfectly. My Dad have a Kubota L3800 with and Ansung Loader. The quick attach doesn't fit all attachments perfectly. The top piece on the quick attach goes to far up into the channel on the bracket. You kinda have to roll the bucket back and just barely take pressure off the forks to get them in the right position to lock. Something could be bent also.

OP, you do have the new implement raised up off the ground and curled back before trying to latch the pins, correct?

I have a little problem sometimes hooking up my bale spear. The SSQA bracket on the bale spear is a bit wider than it should be to fit my DK45 perfectly. Sometimes I have to wiggle it slightly to one side or the other to get the locking pins to line up with the bracket holes. Also, be sure there isn't any debris between the tractor's QA and the attachment's QA plate. My stuff is stored on the ground, so I sometimes get enough dirt, grass or snow in there to inhibit the pins from proper engagement. I would say it usually takes only 1 or 2 minutes to drop off the bucket and attach the bale spear...much of this time is just getting off and on the tractor. A hydraulic or electric QA pin control would make this a 30 second job.

This is far as I can get them in so far, that's not all the way correct? I never looked when it was on the bucket to see how far they went down but I know the lever was farther down than it is now.

Need to keep working at it I guess?
I even tried standing on the handle and while it will move down some it is never enough to go all the way down, just comes back to where it was once I get off.

I'm thinking my pins are further in than those. Put the bucket back on and check to see how far your handles go down.

what concerns me is the lever itself, it's extremely easy to pull up in that position, where the pins could move up easy. It's like the springs aren't fully engaged or the lever cammed over or something. I may just need to take it back out of the barn and try to find some level ground and take it off and try reattaching it.

Ya, when mine goes all the way in you can feel the tension on the handles kinda release a bit but not until they are all the way down..

I have to go outside and look at my pins, for some reason I'm thinking they are in reverse of yours, I'll go out right now..
