Snow hooking up 54" snow plow on 855

OK I have a 54" quick attach snow plow for my JD 855 and in manual for the plow it shows which hoses go to hydraulic connection #1 & #2 on the tractor but no mention of the other two hoses as far as which one goes to #3 and which goes to #4. I'm just trying to get it right the first time instead of the trial and error method.

Well on my 4720 there are 6 hose hookups in the rear and when I hooked up the blower I tried using (from left to right) #1 through #4 but this only allowed chute movement in one direction. In the end the working combination was using #3 through #6. That is blower hose #1 in #3 socket, #2 in #4, and so forth.

On my 318 the two front left connectors were left and right and the two right front connectors were up and down or vice-versa but the point is the pictures in the manual showed you which hose on which cylinder went to which connector and one cylinder's hoses were swapped so left was right and right was left.

My 2305's manual was correct.

So the best thing to do is hook it up and see what does what and when you get it right, write it in the manual because apparently JD's tech writers don't know either!!!
