hood isn't right

Hood needs adjustment

Hello,
New to the site, Just purchaced a new Dk35 hst w/fel.
When we got it home i noticed the hood didnt fit tight againts the instrument panel on the right side but the left side is fine. does anyone know if there is an adjustment i can make to scoot the hood back about a 1/4 of an inch? I have already tried to loosen the hood but it doesn't have any back or forward adjustment. Any ideas?

A quarter inch seems like quite a bit out of alignment. I recall that my hood (DK40se) is a smidgin off but not that much. I haven't tried to do anything about it myself. Have you checked with your dealer?

yes. he said he would take a look at it at the next service. i didn't want to wait for the 50 hour mark
