Honda RT5000 / H5013 / H5518 tractor front frame mount attachment point dimensions

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to adapt a snowplow push frame to mount on the front of Honda subcompact tractors (Honda called them "multi-purpose tractors"). My understanding is that the RT5000, H5013, and H5518 models have almost identical frames and that I should be able to design a single push frame that will fit all those machines, as long as the tractor has the front lift arms (exact same hydraulic assembly that mounts on the rear of these models). I visited a friend to take measurements from a H5518, but forgot to take three dimensions (he's a fair distance away). The front of these machines have two sets of accessory mounting bushings bolted into the frame, and from the rear set of bushings, I need the three dimensions pointed out in the diagram I have attached below. I need to know the inside diameter of these bushings, how high they are from the ground, and how far the frame extends forward beyond the front tires (with the tires pointed straight forward). If you happen to have one of these machines, it would be very greatly appreciated if you would be able to measure and send back the three dimensions in this thread. If you're kind enough to do so, please also let me know which model you have.

I was able to obtain all the dimensions required for the first bracket, but I have not been able to verify that all the mounting bushings for these three machines are all same, although the rest are. I was, however, able to verify that the 5518 has 22mm id mounting bushings. If the RT5000 and H5013 both also have 22 mm ID bushings, the brackets will all be exactly the same for the three. That said, we've had the first of these kits built and shipped to customer #1. We have already simplified the design a little, so I'll post updated pictures soon, but here's a picture of the first of the brackets:

This kit shipped with a 60" plow and I'll post pictures of that set-up mounted on the tractor once I hear back from the customer.

I heard back from the first customer and he said the kit fit well and sent over a picture. The picture was via text, so it's a little grainy. However, here's a link to a hosted picture of the plow mounted to the tractor, along with a picture of the lift chain assembly.

We have already made a design change to this kit, which is that we are having the entirety of the lower "push frame" weldment built from scratch, as it makes for a beefier bracket, as well as saves time at the fabricator's shop compared using some of that part from the original Warn bracket. Also, the next plow kit we sell will have two lift chains and no chain splitter. This will make for a more simple design as it will have two chains clevises attach to tabs on the side plates. Basically, we're just refining the design, but the whole set up makes for a beefy set up for these machines.
