Hey guys, I was hoping to learn more about these old little tractors. It seems like from what I have read people that have actually owned them had nothing but good things to say about them. I have heard that replacement parts are still at least somewhat still available but pricey. Tires being the most difficult thing to find oddly, which is probably due to their odd size.
Anyway, a RT5000 has come up for sale near me, looks to be in excellent overall condition, no paint fade whatsoever, stickers still all intact and has the mower deck, blade/plow and snow blower. They are asking $4,000 for it and I thought a nice little all wheel drive, all wheel steer tractor may be nice. I have been looking for something for awhile but unfortunately nothing has ever came to fruition. I always thought if I found something cool and the price was right I would consider it. The price does not seem too bad and I'm sure they would take a little less.
A big question I have is that I know that the H5518 has a compatible loader, so that is always the one I wanted. So can anyone tell me if the implements like the snow blower, blade/plow and even the mower deck will be compatible with a H5518 that I may acquire in the future? I would love to hear anything other feedback/advice you guys may have on them as well. It seems like a big issue is people ask for help with them (I love to do this) and they don't get much feedback and I am guessing that is because they were not made for that long and not a lot of people have them or even something similar.
