This is a pic of something I made for the veterinarians that take care of our group, large and small. They are really great people and are on call after hours rather than referring people to the local emergency clinic, which seems to be a trend around here.

That's a fine looking plaque. Is it stenciled, engraved or ???

They call it sand-carving, although I don't really think of it as carving. It's a 12" marble tile, 1/2" thick. I blasted it with 180x aluminum oxide, then painted it while the template was still on. It took me awhile, I'm still new to the process but, I'm having fun doing it. The things wrougtn_harv has been doing inspired me to look into it.
