Hogs TV show

They dug a huge wallow in the levee of my pond and muddied up the water..It is larger than a full size bath tub. I am going to set up a still watch and cap them with my Fn, if they show-up. Last time I quit at mid-night and they were all no-show.Still exciting to wait , as long as I am not on the ground..

I have seen parts of that show but never watched the whole thing. There is also a show on feral hogs and how fast they grow and how fast domestic pigs turn feral and grow hair/tusks.

Anyway i think i have eaten it but cant remember it so it must not be to good or bad? I do remember however at a summer job in college i stayed in a room off the tractor shed beside the skinning shed. The plantation manager was into hog hunting at that time (with a bow) and he had killed a huge 200lb sow. He gutted her and let it hang in the cooler around the corner and stunk the whole thing up after the week or so it was in there. I kept food in there up untill that point, i think it took weeks for that nasty smell to leave that cooler.

The logistics are incredible for putting on a TV show about hunting feral pigs. Hauling around a camera and lights while making noise is going to ensure you NEVER see a pig. UV cameras just don't do justice to a TV program in full screen HD and color. Trapping the hogs at least ensures they don't run away before you get some good footage. It would seem that to fill in the big gaps in video footage, they have to inject tons of hype. Not only that, but they repeat themselves over and over at every commercial break. Their "voice of God" commentator is something I can do without. They need to hire the commentators from the PGA who whisper while the pros take a putt. That would be the perfect hog hunting commentator in my opinion.
