Bolts that hold the bracket for the back hoe attachment mounts.

I was doing a check several months ago and noticed this, I took a photo and sent to dealer, they said this was "normal" The bolts could not be tightened, are both loose the same amount and have split lock washers on them.... Did the wrong bolts get installed, or what is up, can anyone look at these to see what theirs look like.

I just looked in my manual and there's nothing that says to not tighten it. Depending on the date of manufacture it is either a M14-2.0P 40L up to 2016.03.15- and M20-2.5P 90L thereafter. My assumption is the L is the length. The torque they list in the generic chart is 8.8 grade 80lb-ft and 10.9 is 111lb-ft for the little one and 244 and 337 on the bigger one. That's a lot of torque on the big bolts. I don't think I could get that kind of torque without using my 1/2 inch impact. I only have the manual handy because my tractor got delivered last Friday. I'd check mine for you but it's at the property and I won;t get back down there for a couple of weeks yet. I get to fly to Chicago for the next two weekends for work. I'm working 17 days straight without a day off. Yay :pullinghair:

I was at the property today and removed the hoe for the first time. Those two bolts are tight on my frame.
