????????Hitch Mount

I just posted a reply re; the tilt trailer I was considering, I did finally purchase it.

My question is with it being a 14,000 lb, should I change my hitch mount? My current one is a hollow tube to the receiver and I think it should be solid for that weight. I found one that it is really nice on eBay, kind of expensive, but should do the job well. I replied in the other post. Yes, get a new bar and ball that are rated appropriately. Also check your hitch on your truck and the truck itself. Are they rated for that weight. Most are not. You need to get into a 2.5" hitch to get the class 5 rating of 14,000# or more.
