Hitch Control lever stiff on 2615

I searched the forum and couldn't find an answer for this:

I have a box grader attached to my 2615 (w/hydrostatic transmission). It's worked very well for the past three years, but lately it will not lift all the way nor lower all the way, and the lever is becoming very hard to manipulate. Hydrolic fluid level is good. Any ideas?

I would try lubricating the linkage on the 3 PH lever.

The lever is probably bound due to overtightened nuts on the rod it is attached to. I had the same problem. Look underneath the fender, and follow the mechanism to the point you will see where there are two nuts together. Loosen both to allow normal movement, and re-tighten. The 3PT will probably work correctly then.

Also check all your other linkages. I lube mine at least once a year by spraying all moving parts with PB blaster or similar penetrant.

I got the same thing. I have to go out and clean it all. I hope it works for me.

I may have to buy a new lever though. Seems some strong guy has pushed down on it too much and it seems to bend real easy now. (doh!)

Looks like the clean out and oil worked. It moves super smooth now. I think the lever will be fine and if it breaks then I'll cross that bridge or weld a new one up.
